I was just wondering, if we make it to the ulster final with the county is there any chance we would be getting t-shirts or hoodies? Every other age group got gear.
Surely you want to play for your county for the love of it and not get freebies. With the Senior County team going into a replay in 3 weeks time, any spare money (and believe me ther is none) will be channelled in that direction.

I want to agree with 'parent' regarding u12 developement squad. Antrim county senior team was playing in Croke Park on Sunday, not a club team. Therefore i feel it would be more represenative of Antrim if the U12 dev squad had been playing so players from all clubs would have got the opportunity to participate. I see by the moderators response that the Camogie Association asked for a club team to play at half time, dont think the Camogie Association would know if it was a club team or county team that was going to play. Surely this was a lost opportunity to enhance the team spirit among all the u12 dev squad and would have been a way of thanking the children for their effort so far, especially all players in their last year.
Dont be so bitter and twisted the Camogie Association asked for a club team it was done fair and square - end of

just looking at your "home" page where it says that the leauges have been sorted out, with Loughille winning div 1 & 2. Your league tables show that Tir-na-nOg have won div 2. Can you please confirm.
PS. Was down in Croke yesterday - we should of won, but roll on Oct 3rd when we will win.

Well done to Antrim yesterday! You played a good match and the subs introduced certainly improved the performance. Perhaps some of these players should have started but it's not me who picks the team and the manager is the one who sees these players on a regular basis. Mairead was superb in nets whilst Kerry, Emma, Raquel and Jane worked hard. When Shannon moved out to mid field, things settled down and Antrim played as they can. It won't be long until the replay - both teams have the potential to win. Whoever wants it the most and can give it their most will be the victors. C'mon Antrim, you can do it!

the match yesterday could of went either way i though the backs did well as a unit but we need to get the midfield tightened up a bit and get balls into the forward line. i though are centre forward had a vry gd game took a vry good score when we needed one and set up a load of play for those around her but still could be more confident in taking more scores as well cabable of doing that the closing down of the girls was brilliant and num 10 had a very good game when she ran with the ball they had no answers with more balls into the forward line an all ireland will be brought back on the 3rd of october!

Thought our girls got a bit lost and maybe panicked a bit towards the end of the game yesterday - we lost our shape but lived to fight another day - the experience will do us the world of good, in order to progress the game in antrim we need to win this game, we have to look for inspiration from Offally we beat them two years ago to get into Division 2 and look at where they are now, they played a great game yesterday and ther now Senior and obviously Joachim Kelly is as good a coach as he was a player

thought our girls looked very tired yesterday waterford got their equalising point from our mistake by a tired player who in honesty up til that had a good game . we seemed to run out of ideas our centre half forward always looked to give the ball to jane adams even if she had 2 players marking her instead of shooting herself which she is capable of doing judging by her score in the latter stages of the game . we seemed to always find their spare player when hitting a pass forward . but we can improve and will win the replay

I am a parent and my daughter trained and played with the under 12 development squad for antrim county - I took her to the match today. A club from Antrim had a team playing - which I congratulate they did well and it is a privledge but why have a development squad and when your county is in a final - you use the under 12 development squad as I understand this is the age that was playing - why was the decision taken to use a club rather than to use the squad which involved clubs from all over the county.
Cumann Camaoighta asked for a club team to take part in the mini games at half time, Portglenone were pulled out of the hat

Congrats to the Portglenone 7's team for reaching the Shield Final at Kilmacud yesterday. They unfortunately lost out to the Tipperary outfit Clonoulty from Rossmore. However, what an achievement by Chrissie Doherty on winning Player of the Tournament!! Totally deserved by a very talented and committed Senior player.
