How come st johns are further down the table than port and ballycastle,  st johns have only been beaten by loughguile and have beaten both ballycas and port?
St Johns are joint top of the table with Loughgiel although Loughgiel have a game in hand! Ask your club sec for updated league

I was at an underage match recently and was looking forward to a super match from two terrific teams. Unfortunately some of the girls from one of the teams displayed terrible manners to the opposing team and referee throughout the match. They then approached the referee and jeered him at the end of the match. Good camogie players don't behave in this manner and I hope the mentors of this team can bring these girls into line. It's difficult enough to get referees for our games and this sort of behaviour certainly wouldn't encourage anyone to take up the job. It's time to develop respect among underage players, inappropriate behaviour is not welcome in our game!
Behaviour like this is not tolerated, I hope the referee sent in a report outlining the behaviour of this team

Who and were do we email updated league results as some are not up to date.
When the moderator of the website gets time he will update the leagues, its a slow job and plenty of time is needed.  League updates will be sent to clubs to day so contact your sec or if you wish to have it sent to you leave your e mail address

League cup finished for us this week and as a playing member of the team it was good to have games the weeks in which the county played/or trained - meaning we (club players) werent losing out in match time just because the county was doing well.
Yet in saying that 2 teams struggled for numbers against us and didn't field - therefore we had 2 matches overall as a result of this new competition. its a good idea if we can get teams to field.

I think the club championship is way way too late. Championship has always started at the end of july/ beginning of August every year in Antrim which was perfect, still later than Derry and giving us a great length of season.  What was the reason to postpone it this year?    Yes our county team is doing great this year - but in future years IF they get knocked out in July - it means that for August & til end of September we have no games (bar league cup & shield finals)

I would guess im not on my own saying id rather be playing c'ship in the summer like all the other counties in Ireland, than autumn/winter.
Maybe championship could be played a month earlier whcih would still give us a great season.  Perhaps there is a need to make league cup a 9 a side competition so that clubs can field - time now to get good ideas in

It is well seen observer tat you are not a current player league cup has been great club players playing camogie and county preparing efficiently I for one have to say that its gr8 having camogie over the summer why would be in a rush to play of competitions the camogie season is short enough without having all competitive action completed by end of June.  I think full praise is due to the county board and the innovative structures that are currently in place in Antrim shields etc and league cup and seeding at underage gives almost every real opportunities to develop their skillls at a levels suitable to their ability

I think this league cup thing is a bit of an anti- climax.  Non- county players are having to wait now until the end of september before the REAL competitive camogie begins and when it gets to that stage of the year most other camogie is finished. Why not have the championship earlier in the year rather than later?  The derry chamionship will be completed this Sunday which means county players will not be torn between club and county and can focus on county committments but yet the club camogie is still comepetitive throughout the season for those players who dont play county.  I think the number of cups/sheilds etc etc is slightly taking the excitment out of domestic camogie in Antrim.  The county team is definatley VERY VERY important but i do think there could be a better balance between the two.  I know a few girls who have said that they see the league cup as completely pointless, tho i do understand the county board are doing their best to accomodate everyone.  But let's face it, no-one really wants a sheild for coming 2nd place or a cup for beating weaker teams, as a past player myself i dont think i would feel any desire to win any of the "loser's prizes" for want of a better word.  Im not criticising anyone or anything like that because i know the powers that be are doing their very best for everyone but i do think we should get back to basics in Antrim and do away with all the sheild cups etc etc.  Does anyone agree???  Bit of healthy debate for a change haha!!

And best of luck to the antrim squads for the rest of the season...bring it home girls!!
I think a lot of the girls appreciate the league cup, its giving those girls who were on the periphery of their team a better chance to shine.  Also talk to the normal club player in Derry (not Coleraine or Ballinderry obviously) some of those clubs have gone out of the championship in early June - they had 6 league games played before they even made their championship draws - they have one league game since the beginning of June. Have a bit of wit, if we played our championship early what would our girls do now - apart from the county champions who would only be training and training with no games.  When a club is out of the championship the interest in the season is gone.  I for one am so looking forward to the league cup and shield final(there are no medals or prizes for this unless someone donates a cup and shield.  Our teams will be well prepared for Kilmacud sevens, hopefully our county team will be in Croke park in September and then --- the Antrim Senior Championship which will start in late September and finish in October, if that doesnt shorten the winter what will?

Im just wondering is there any special reason why our County U14 panel is going to have 40 players on it this year??

It seems to me that there is 15 to many on this?

Would a panel of 25 not be more beneficial??
We have to field two teams on the 14th of August in the Ulster Tournament which will be in Derrylaughlin.  After that the selectors will no doubt cut the squad
