In my question I meant to say what's the difference between League cup and All Ireland Premier Junior Camogie Championship
The All Ireland Premier Junior Camogie Championship is for teams which include Antrim (stronger Junior teams) there is also an All Ireland Junior A and B for weaker teams. The league cup is what we play on a Tuesday night in Antrim when the county team is training(this is a new competition to give the teams a chance to play compeditive without their county players on a Tuesday night

anyone at the match on saturday , do they think that antrim have improved under mickey or was it a poor kilkenny side that turned up. had heard that mickey had neglected his manager duties for a while to concentrate on strictly antrim is this true ?
Well now he did make his debut as a dancer, but dont think he had any follow up calls to do further dance routines, it was the same Kilkenny side that got beat in last years All Ireland Final

Two of Antrims half backs were taking off before half time both because of injury. the girls that came on didn't weaken the team at all 3 of the goals had been scored before emma and natalie were taken off it was jus mistakes made by the backs but with time these mistakes will be rectified. The seniors gave an outstanding performance and there will be more to come from them

As a camog parent still not 100% in the ways of the game can you explain the difference between the League cup and the Junior premiership and if the Antrim camogs referred to as inelligible, why are they inelligible? Go raibh maith agat.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING JUNIOR PREMIERSHIP BUT YOUR CLUB WILL EXPLAIN IT TO YOU

the 2 half backs were not taken off before half time, only the centre half back. emma c later came off when she hurt her ankle but that was near the end of the game. louise stayed on so i think youve been watching a different game.
a solid performance

One half back had went into the game with an injury & it flared up again forcing her off & the other got split on the shin & had to go straight to hospital...
Replacing the half backs wasn't what cost goals as the girls that came on done very well too.. There is really a great squad there. As could be seen by the 20 odd girls on the line as opposed to 1 or 2 last year...

I agree, the seniors were great yday but both Natalie McGuinness and Emma Connolly picked up injuries just before half time...both had been excellent up until then!!
You see when good players are taken off there is always a logical explanation

Re concerned: Hopefully you feel a wee bit less concerned about "an Antrim team who couldn't make a Junior Final" taking on Kilkenny runners up in the All Ireland Final last year. Antrim had 14 scores to Kilkenny's 10. Sleep well Antrim are on the up, you however???

was up at the antrim senior match and thought they put on a brilliant display against a very strong kilkenny side our girls started very strongly and this shows the improvements that have been made throughout the team compared to last year this is great to see. 1 question i would like to ask however would be why two half back were taken of before half time was there a reason because in my opinion they were playing very well and thought this weakened are defence resulting in them getting more goals but apart from that it was great to watch well done girls keep it going throughout championship.

was readin threw the comments and there was somethin about a good few players in our team?? LOLOL!. everyone in our team are amazingg and thats why we're headin to Clare. There's 15 players in a team not just 'a few'. Im sure if there were just a few good players in the antrim féle final we wouldnt've have won it but we did so clearly we have a whole team of AMAZING players and thats why we won :D
