I really think your grievance is pathetic whether you like it or not - you should really not comment on the guest book your negativity is neither required or appreciated

To parent, you say you`ve travelled the lengths and breadths of Ireland in your committment to your County, why stop now??  By the way I think its shocking that you travel the whole way to Croke almost once a year, I wouldn`t stand for that, perhaps you should complain about that too and they might move headquarters to Belfast!!

I have played county a couple of years and had to travel a fair bit  to get to trainins and matches as i live in Ballycastle but found the fairst place for training was portglenone roughly taking te same time to get to from belfast and ballycastle so theres a problem solved.and if people dont want to make the effort dont bother playing because if you really want to play you'll make the effort to get there.

Venues to train and play matches are hard to come by in the county and really the county board has its hands tied in this regard.  For godsake, my daughter is part of the senior panel at the moment and they are having to travel to Ardboe in County Tyrone to train!!

Think the idea of playing c'ship later is a good one. Last yr it happened by accident but left teams playing right thru the summer. Given some of the weather we have had the last couple of yrs it would also allow fixtures to be played. The longer the season the better for camogie, I can't see how hanging the hurl up in august and not taking it out again to feb or march will improve the standard of club players in the county.

Ps. Wouldn't it be great if Antrim got a run out in Croke park in early september?? At least the club calendar wouldn't be turned on it's head given the way the fixtures have been planned for 2010!!!

When on earth will the fixtures appear online?

B4 you tell me they are with clubs already, why not utilise the fixtures part of this website!
I simply do not have time, the fixtures have to go on one by one and it takes ages.

can i ask what was the shocking reason to start senior camogie championship at the end of September? nearly 2 months later than normal? i can only guess that the committee feels our senior county team will have a good chance of reaching croke park in september (which i agree) and are keeping august free - to prevent injuries?

What team/ player/ manager in the county favours this? id say not too many, the summer is for championship not autumn!!!
No complaints from any club at board meetings, most of them feel this is the best time, and it keeps Camogie alive and all clubs playing right through the season.  It has often been said once a club is out of the championship they lose interest in the rest of the season.  I dont know many camogie players who would want their season finished by the months of June or July.

Are underage (U8 &U10) camogs allowed to have training sessions alongside the same age group of hurlers. The camog and hurlers would have their own mentors and helpers and all child protection rules would apply in respect of female representation at these training sessions. It would just mean that the girls and boys involved would be training together on the one evening on the same pitch.
I think as long as you are adhering to child protection guidlines (and you appear to be) there shouldnt be any problem
