St Johns u16 are some team!! Great all-round players. But  I agree with the moderator, there are plenty of other gifted u16 players in other clubs.

Congratulations to Loughgiel U14 on winning Antrim Feile on 7th May and then going on to win Ulster Feile Division 1 on 14th May.
You have made your club and families very proud and go on and represent Antrim in Galway and do your very best and believe.
Keep up the good work. Very proud to be on the sideline supporting you every step of the way. Plenty of fun raising events going on in the next few weeks so come out and give the girls the support they require.

Haven't seen a under 16 team before as st johns u 16 team. Team work, scoring, energy, workrate, support play moving off the ball, defending etc etc etc. Fair play to the people who are putting the work in to them. Some very vert gifted players for this co.
Lots of gifted u16s in the other clubs as well..

Don't feel dismayed , lifes too short !! In essence I think we actually agree one another. I too feel that playing the organised blitzes is wonderful and gives the children more camogie which is undoubtedly to their benefit .However I concur with your thoughts on varying the oppostion , playing the same teams is becoming a little repetitive , thus my enthusiasm to learn of the commencement of the mini leagues ! Thank you Moderator for trying to clarify this for me.

I have to agree with the under12 mentor another round of blitzes would work better than the league but with different teams and would be a lot cheaper

I have to say that I feel a little dismayed at the last post re under 12s.  I am currently taking our club under 12 team and feel the cluster blitzs have been brilliant - perhaps a little tweaking required in that we could change the opposition about a little as playing the same opposition for the 4th time was probably a bit monotonous.  I have been involved with under 12s for a number of years have coached winning under 12 teams but for the first time ever I see real development amongst our young players as opposed the previous scenario where 4-5 better players dominated the whole time.  In fact I would prefer another round of cluster blitzs as I dont see the point of teams travelling to other clubs to play basically one 20 min 11 a side game.  Well done to all the coaching development volunteers

Sorry to say it but in my opinion the organisation of the u12's this season is poor. We are still playing these cluster blitzes against the same teams week in week out and still there is no word on the league starting, rumour has it that it won't be until August which would leave the u12's without matches for June and July !!!! Maybe the moderator could have this clarified or even someone from the county could comment. Many Thanks
I am told Mid-June is a more likely starting point but no more details than that are available.
