I mentored Maeve Connolly at county and club level and I cannot believe that she is not in the final stage of the all star trials - questions have to be asked of who is picking - as they picked girls for all stars last year that was on a sub bench for club and county !!!!!

omg cant believe maeve is not back, is this true. I was at trials and she played well. There were good players from Maghera in middle, but maeve was as good and cant see how she is not in 20 to get back from Belfast trial.

Just heard that maeve connelly is not getting back for final allstr trial. How come she is good enough to play in croke park for Antrim seniors and can't get into the last 35 for colleges allstars?
It is a disgrace. Who picks the allstars. Last year they left out laura connelly. Do they no anything about camogie - or do they have something against certain players

We share your pain..Both Connolly girls are top notch camogie players and would get in any squad in Ireland.All I can say is it's only somebody's personal opinions who makes the All-Star awards and doesn't reflect on Maeve's ability.She can take the opportunity next year to show them that they were wrong in leaving her out.

Fr Davies' Cup final in Cushendall 10 days ago was filmed by Jimmy Quinn (glensofantrimvideo.com) by agreement between the two schools.

When do the players that attended the Ulster College Allstar trials find out if they can move on to the next trial, thanks.

on behalf of the u14 management team of last year i would like to thank all players for there commitment last year, unfortunatly we will not be moving up to the u16s next year with the same group of players, as another canditate was accepted for the job. And would like to wish the players the best for the up coming year and hopefully it is a fruitful one!!!!

Didnt get to Stormont last night buy by all accounts a great night was had by all - well done to our politicans for recognizing us. Camogie suffers greatly from lack of publicity this is great for our profile
And great for our juvenile camógs to get used to an atmosphere of success and achievement in the county.

I was at the civic reception in stormount last night & it was great for the under 14's to mix with their heroes the seniors. One thing I was very impressed with was the senior manager. Mickey spoke very well & you can see just what an inspiration he must be to them girls on the field or in the dressing room.
