Well done to all those who got soaring star awards! It's great to get recognition for hard work and determination combined with friendship and sportsmanship. These girls, and others, are a credit to their clubs and Antrim. They are super role models for our young ones! Congratulations

Can I ask who picks the Soaring Stars for the year?
or Does the management give the panel a set of names?
I have been at all the games and my choice of players would have been different.
I doubt they did not go on performance for the year they must have went on one match and it must have been different from the matches I watched.

The Camogie Association appoint selectors to pick al Stars and Soaring awards. We do not know who they are.

final should go back to glenravel as the semi finals where played there, and they have excellent new premises and changing rooms. Semi finals where well run and great playing surface and also great spectator access and a viewing gallery!!!!

Any1 from antrim get all star nomations?
No one from Antrim will get nominations as Junior teams are only entitled to Soaring Stars. Antrim have 5 Soaring Star winners Jane Adams Kerrie O Neill Shannen Graham Michaela Convery and Rionna Torney. Well done to the 5 we could have had another few as well as many of our girls played extremely well this season

Glad to hear Michelle is comming on well and responding to treatment. Good luck to both of the teams that made it to the final, and in the end the team that wants it the most will come out tops, I would say that it will be a good game to watch, and like Creggans game with us on Saturday it could so easily go any way. Was a great match between our teams and theres only ever one winning team, Good luck to Creggan and Rossa for final. Also hope the Rossa player will be ok for final

Saturday was one of the best and yet toughest days in our recent history. To continue to play with one of our team so ill was excruciating for everyone and we're so thankful we came away with the win for her. We're ecstatic Michelle has made such brilliant progress and we ask that everyone continues to keep her in their prayers. Meningitis is such a serious illness we all need to be vigilant of and be aware that not always are all the symptoms you hear in the media/press are what flare up.

ROSSA WILL PREPARE LIKE THEY PREPARE FOR ANY BIG GAME OF THAT IVE NO DOUBT, THEY HAVE TOO MUCH EXPERIENCE TO TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED AND WILL WORK HARD FOR A WIN.

Rossa will go in favourites for this but creggan are a good team and have nothing to lose. Rossa really struggled to get over the same opposition at creggan in last years first round. They were without jane who will make a massive impact on the game. However, Rossa are without seanin daykin and possibly kerri o'neill...huge losses to them around the middle. Creggan have some brilliant players in Shannon, the lavertys, Sarah maguire, ruby and eleanor mcconville while cathy carey was outstanding in the semi final. Tight game in prospect in my opinion, good luck to both teams!!
